The Army of the Cumberland

Henry Cist served under Major-General Rosecrans and Major-General Thomas during the Civil War. He was the secretary for the Society of the Army of the Cumberland. The movements of the brigades can be traced in this work. The appendices at the end of the text are invaluable for a historian interested in researching the movements of the minor commands.
