In this fast paced novel, we follow a siren named Kat who grew up believing she was human because her real mother bound her powers when she discovered Kat was the reincarnation of the original mother siren, Auris; leaving her unaware of her heritage. After a series of horrific events, the binds on her powers are broken and she has to go on the run from other sirens who wish to resurrect the mother siren. The book is the first in what will be a series that will lead to something much more sinister, an event that will change the world as we know it.
