My potpourri of published articles 1969-1996
Sobre
The second half of the Twentieth Century provided the modern American rabbi with ample challenging subject matter, from the condition of the contemporary synagogue, the Jewish military chaplaincy, the dynamics of antisemitism, hidden messages in Jewish celebrations, effective interfaith programs, and reflections on patriotism and civil liberties. From 1969 to 1996, Rabbi Nathan Landman bridged a career as an Air Force chaplain, Deputy Director of the JWB Jewish Chaplains Council, and nursing home chaplain, while publishing noteworthy articles in a variety of periodicals. Here are seventeen publications both edifying and challenging, reflective of this era.
