A Brief History of Photography (English Edition)

If you are hoping to flick through a few pages of photographs by well-known names, this piece of work is not for you. This is a written view of a short history of the art of photography and the only illustrations it contains are a shameless showing of images by myself.

This essay is intended as an aid for those starting out in researching photographic history and hopefully a motivator for further research and study. Many other great photographers (past and present) are out there for the reader to go and discover.
