So often, in daily life and any business venture, does the talent of reading people make an enormous difference. Philosophy, metaphysics, theology, and epistemology: such are some of the few areas of study focused on understanding the person. People have long understood that to determine what a client actually wants as opposed to what is said is a matter of experience.
Humans have studied themselves since the dawn of time. This book intends to share that collective experience and knowledge to eschew real world yields. Whatever business the reader may be engaged in, learning the science of reading people can have an undeniable influence. In fact, many people may already have adopted some of the skills outlined within this book, but perhaps may have never verbalized it to themselves.
As a scholar, I like to think of the brain as a sphere of clay. Every new experience, every mistake, every success, anything that broadens our understanding of the world increases the size of this sphere of clay ever so slightly. Habitual acts, or those that are the result without intention, tend not to enlarge the sphere. Thus, understanding how the human brain functions, its inner monologue, its outer forms, and everything in between can be a successful exercise no matter what profession one is engaged in.
This book endeavors to educate people how we ourselves understand our inner functions and outer forms. The goal being that if we begin to notice an outer form in the individual or individuals we are speaking with, we may better predict how he or she may act in the future. If we have a better understanding of our counterpart, then we will possess more information on which to base one’s next move. This in-depth analysis of human nature serves to reduce human motivation into something more quantifiable, data that serviceable to the individual who possesses it.
