Navy Tactical Reference Publication (NTRP) 4-04.2.5/Technical Manual (TM) 3-34.42/Air Force Pamphlet (AFPAM) 32-1020/Marine Corps Reference Publication (MCRP) 3-17.7F, Construction Project Management, describes construction project planning, scheduling, and execution by military engineers. In today’s operational environment, engineers are increasingly employed as joint forces with multiple military service engineers under a single commander. This necessitates standardized construction project management for military engineers across the operational forces. Although the methods and procedures used in this publication are consistent with construction industry practices, military engineers face distinct challenges when operating in contingency operations. The fundamental principles in this publication apply to most construction projects, however, military engineers may adapt these principles to specific contingency situations.
