During the last few years, I’ve written some stories in English. A few of them have been translations of my Spanish stories but the vast majority were original pieces written for magazines and online media.
Without any other purpose than to gather them into one source and with the idea of giving some perspective of the last few years of my work, I decided to publish a series of short books with the most representative ones, the ones I think could be interesting for the readers after a few years have passed.
This is the first book of the series. It includes stories published in 2011 and 2012. They are mostly about Mexican football but they also cover some other interesting stories in the region and the world.
All the stories have a brief paragraph right at the end in which I share my perspective as of 2017, to give them a little bit of context at the time this book was published. I hope you enjoy reading them as I did writing them.
