The Arrival
Two centuries ago the mysterious Mecoids erupted from a worm hole and nearly wiped out the human race in a few short days, then as the planet burnt they simply just disappeared. Using the remnants of the captured technology left behind, the human race rebuilt.
The yet to be commissioned Resolute was the most expensive warship ever created. Captained by its chief designer Mellissa Vitelli for it space trials it is suddenly pulled into long dormant wormhole. Only the training ship Sparta, Captained by the old sea dog Commodore George Zorba is close enough to follow and reluctantly pushes his ship into the closing wormhole with one order. Destroy the Resolute before it falls into enemy hands.
Expelled halfway across the galaxy the two ships find themselves separated in hostile space against a hostile species that has never know defeat. But the Mecoid Confederacy has never come across Missy and her ship before. The Resolute has arrived and the Galaxy is about to be changed forever.
