    Sobre

Shaman is a historical/science-fiction/war novel based on the time period when Genghis Khan was prevalent. The story begins with a small boy named Shen. His entire village is slaughtered and his mother is taken by raiders. Shen decides he must then travel into the forbidden burned forest to find help. Inside the forest lives an evil shaman that strikes pacts with demons and travels into different dimensions. Shen finds the Shaman and they team up as Shen himself becomes a Shaman. He fights numerous demons and goes through a countless number of worlds in order to attain power. Shen finds his mother and ends up helping Genghis Khan unite the Mongol tribes. Throughout the story he falls in love with a young witch named Kassar, and finds the true intentions of his master the Shaman. In the end both Shen and the Shaman come together to destroy a monster so vile and horrid it could be described as "death itself".
