The Original Comprehension Book!: 15 Comprehension Exercises with Answers! (English Edition)

A book of totally original comprehension texts to develop reading skills for Year 5/6 in Britain (9-11 year olds). If your child is taking a grammar school test or SATs then these 15 comprehension passages will provide some valuable experience! Each short passage has been written by me and is packed full of interesting and varied vocabulary to stretch children's knowledge of words as well as implied and inference questions to develop their understanding of what they are reading. There are 15 passages and each should take between 20-30 minutes to complete. Answers are provided just in case the adults get stuck too and there are even some suggestions for developing creative writing from the passages.
