In 1999 (when Amazon first began expanding beyond books) armed only with an M.A in Psychology and a copy of HTML for Dummies, Greg Brisendine built the first version of the Bitter Single Guy's Relationship Advice website. Over 15 years he received letters from readers across the globe, looking for ways to improve their relationship, get rid of their relationship, or find a relationship. In all these cases, the Bitter Single Guy (the BSG as he refers to himself) gave them the advice their friends probably should have, but never would.
