He imagines himself flying high above the heads of all the other penguins, looking down on them and the snowy, ice-bound landscape from above. But his mother and father have other ideas for him.

When he is older he must look after an egg, while the females are fishing for food, and he must also learn how to play the piano as well as a song to sing for a very important reason.
