“Impermanence” paints a portrait of a somewhat arrogant music student disillusioned by his mysterious past. His misfortune suddenly turns around when, despite his cynicism, he lands an apprenticeship under a professional musician and meets another young intellectual he builds a tentative, but eventually important, bond with.
