This is a grader reader for ESL teachers. It has three stories for beginning readers. (ESL is English as a Second Language) It is meant for students overseas, not for little children in the USA,. Perhaps that should be made clear up front. Some parents might not understand the concept of English as a Second Language, and I wouldn't want a negative review from someone that doesn't know how to read a description.
1.) The Class Clown (a middle school boy that breaks his leg, and learns a lesson about following the rules)
2.) The Bully (standing up to bullies when others can not)
3.) The Quiet Boy (a 9th grader who lost his father, and the teacher that helps him learn about forgiveness)
Each story is between 300 to 500 words, with a few questions after the story for reading comprehension.
