Outlining your novel in Scrivener just got easier!
This ebook is meant to be used on your computer only, not a handheld device. It contains a link to download the template to your computer. This template is a .scriv file and can only be used by the application Scrivener.
What To Expect:
- A well organized, thorough Scrivener template waiting for your own great ideas
- Some good questions to focus your attention, making your story great
- A professional-level outlining system, much like a writer’s filing cabinet, to place your story’s components exactly where your novel needs them
- A concise guide with simple directions
This Scrivener template is the outline I spent countless hours building for my own fiction. Based on concepts of my favorite go-to books on writing (Plot & Structure by James Scott Bell, Conflict & Suspense by James Scott Bell, 20 Master Plots by Ronald B Tobias, Bird by Bird by Anna Lamott, Write Better, Faster by Monica Leonelle, and Make A Scene by Jordan Rosenfeld), this outline will help you structure your own novel and clarify the important plot elements, keeping readers turning pages! This template, however, is no substitute for learning about the craft, and I highly recommend the above books to everyone.
The outline also is filled with just the right amount of brain-storming prompts, both challenging you to engage your reader emotionally and propel your story in the most satisfying way possible. Character, conflict, and climax questionnaires are also included to focus your best efforts.
There isn't a lot of fluff or hand-holding (and a basic knowledge of Scrivener is expected), but even the most seasoned writer will appreciate this outline template, offering an ease-of-use that will benefit writers at ever level.
