As a traditional Kobudoka I am extremely concerned about the preservation and dissemination of traditional weaponry. This series of weaponry manuals will bring to the light of day the centuries-old traditional tonfa forms, each dealing with different strategic responses and techniques that have in the past remained in guarded secrecy.

Weaponry Kata have been a means of handing down the techniques of each weapon from master to student. This manual is a "written in stone" method of preserving these Kata in their original form.
