“Now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”
—1 Corinthians 13:12
The Apostle Paul made this statement with reference to the blessedness of the believer in eternity. Such statements are frequent in the Scriptures. We find in 1 Corinthians 2:9, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” Again in 1 John 3:2, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” And again in 1 Peter 1:4, “To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you.”

God’s Word plainly declares: “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Heb 9:27). The soul that dies outside of Christ will be known for eternity even as he is known...
