Narrated, photographed and designed by a journalist couple, this digital travelogue on Greece is an insight into the historical country in the backdrop of the economic crisis of 2015. Packed with photographs, informal story-telling and a sprinkling of interactive videos and sound files, the book is a documentation of the testing times that Greece and its people were going through during the peak of the meltdown.

The 158-page work is sliced up into three distinct chapters. The first one focuses on classical Greece, sampling its everlasting old-world charm and the historical ruins in Athens and around. The spotlight also falls on other less-celebrated but equally intriguing aspects of Athenian lifestyle. Watch out for the revolting graffiti splashed all over the walls of the Greek capital as the book takes you on a meandering journey into less-travelled nooks and corners of Athens. The vibrant Athenian street music scene, too, is documented here.

The second part of 'Into The Sunset' takes you on a fairy-tale tour of the most iconic islands of Greece, including the spectacular Santorini and the mesmerising Mykonos. As you flick through the pages and learn about life on the islands, you take a virtual walk down the cobbled alleys and by-lanes of the pretty, little island towns.

The third and final section showcases Kalavryta, a mountain village, and its typically Greek rural charm. The highlights of laid-back Kalavryta include a charming mountain railway service that connects the village (high up on the Peloponnese hills) to the Gulf of Corinth waterfront down below. Then there's a throwback to the dark days of World War II, when 500 men from the village were gunned down en masse one night. Kalavryta offers you two features together: the authentic Greek rural life experience and a flashback to a place of significance in war history.
