In the summer of 2016 Ellie and her Dad Derek Allan decided to set about on an adventure.
Two years previously when Ellie was 7 years old they went on a spur of the moment walk with two backpacks.
They walked a 17 mile round trip to get an ice-cream. Derek has always made it his mission to raise money for charity, he often spoke about different fund raising ideas. Whilst on this walk Ellie decided that she wanted to help raise money. She asked if she could help to save the world too.
For two years since then they casually trained in the build up to do something bigger. Their small training walks along the coast continued to inspire. Many people on various social networks followed their trips with anticipation waiting for beautiful images and inspiring thoughtful words from Derek.
Over the years Derek has done many different kinds of fundraising but his focus was to raise money through walking.
This is to be the beginning of many adventures.
His idea is to "help as many people as possible along the way"

This book will tell of the first big charity walk shared between father and daughter 65 miles along the Northumberland coast.. The story tells of the fun they had , the things they did to raise money for charity and how they tested their limits.
Their plan for greater walks is in action as there is no better way to do this than being on an actual walk with no distractions.
