This is a collection of essays exploring issues of importance to making sense of the modern age and the consequences arising out of rapidly moving international and domestic developments. In the essays I intended to make clear that human society must be looked at from an understanding that it is dialectical in nature and is constantly developing as new forces and old forces arise and fall.
