Adventurous Animals: Family Friendly Walks with Dartmoor’s Adventurous Animals (English Edition)

A book of family friendly guided walks with local wildlife themes along routes around the beautiful Dartmoor National Park. Published by local blogger and wildlife writer Matt Parkins, the book contains ten routes around some of the interesting havens for the animals that live around Dartmoor. This pocket-sized book is beautifully illustrated by children from Okehampton Primary School and takes you through many of the most interesting natural habitats to look at the woods, valleys, rivers and rocks of the moor. The walking routes range from 3km to 7km and will give a variety of opportunities for enjoyable days out in the fresh air. Each route is described in the book with a sketch map but it is recommended that you take a map with you as well.
