David A. Korver, was born in the Netherlands in 1970. He moved to Portugal with his missionary parents at age 8 where he frequented regular Portuguese school. He returned to the Netherlands at age 21 to study. He obtained his Masters in Public Administration and Organisational Science in 1997 followed by a Masters in Business Administration in 2000. Having worked for IBM, and Logica Finance at ING Bank, ING Investment Management, Elsevier Science and other companies as a consultant and project manager, he moved to Zimbabwe with his wife, two daughters and a third one on the way in 2002, working for SNV (Netherlands Development) as a development worker specializing in organisational development. In 2005 he moved to Beira, Mozambique where he continued working for SNV. In 2009 he moved to Maputo, Mozambique’s capital city, where he started his own consultancy company. In 2012, David and his family moved back to the Netherlands.
