Half a millennium ago, cataclysm drove our world into another Dark Age. Races and creatures we longed believed myths have re-emerged in a world no longer dominated by Man alone. Factions within the city jockey for power and against the prince while a new religion threatens the safety of all.
Tales of horror drift in from wandering travelers and trade vessels. Strange beasts and shadowy figures roam the night. Communication from outlying towns comes to an end. From out of the west, a long forgotten evil is amassing.
An unlikely group forms and seeks counsel from the elves in far away Moolinardil and learns our near destruction 500 years ago was caused by a foe older than Man himself—an ancient evil returning to complete our final annihilation.
