An introduction to Kindle Publishing: Your guide to designing, formatting, royalty rates, pricing and publishing and promoting your book on Kindle (English Edition)

    Por Tim O'Grady

    Sobre

There are two types of people who publish on Kindle: authors and entrepreneurs.

The latter write books after they have researched niche categories on Amazon to work out what will and won't sell, then books are specifically written to match the market requirements. There are hundreds of books written telling you how to write kindle books to make money, these are Amazon Entrepreneurs.

However the former are true authors, writing for the pleasure of writing, with no knowledge of who they are targeting other than someone who will enjoy their book.

A true author will spend time and energy writing and the whole world of self publishing, formating, publishing and promoting a book is new to them, the world of Kindle is baffling and they don’t want or need to understand the inner workings of Amazon. These are the people I’ve worked with over the last couple of years and have built up a good understanding of the general Amazon market as a result.

This book is for anyone who has written a book and wants to publish it and Kindle seems like the best option. This book tries to answer all the questions my clients ask before they even send me a manuscript and hopefully a whole lot more.

If you have already published a book on Kindle, well done, how is it going? This book probably isn’t for you as you’ll have gone through most of the pain and understanding already although you might pick up a few tips if you do download this copy.
