Nerves of steel…
Brad Lando rides into Arizona country to face the toughest job of his entire career.
He has been ordered by the railroad to keep an eye on the gold cargo being transported by train through Bitter Ridge.
That much gold all in one place was a magnet for trouble. Sure enough, the train is ambushed and wrecked killing most of the passengers instantly.
Brad Lando arrives on the scene just in time to be an eyewitness to the train wrecking and operating as an unknown secret agent, he soon finds himself up against the whole county and branded a cold-blooded murderer.
Years of living in the violent wild west had toughened Lando, so when every instinct tells him to cut his loses and run, he stays put.
Fear was something he had set behind him a long time ago, particularly now that the responsibility to hunt down the culprits had fallen single-handedly to him.
With only his nerve and the single pearl-handled Colt to enforce his will, Lando must fight to prove his innocence.
Coming up against both innocent locals hungry for justice and the crooked law, up to their elbows in illegal activity, it’s not going to be easy.
It’s not long before an Arizona Manhunt is in full swing and the locals are out for blood…
