After having translated and published the six books of the AŞŢĀNGA HŖDAYAM into German, I saw the need of a seventh book, containing the complete index of the German, Sanskrit and Latin items of this masterpiece of the Ayurvedic medicine.
After having published this book, I decided to translate it into English, to give the English speaking world a unique possibility of working with the text, because the todays obtainable indexes attached to the few English translations are not as complete as I think, they should be.
