As a therapist and personal coach, I understand the difficulties of doing away with the negativity that we all have in our lives and which keeps us from achieving our goals. Our brains are naturally hard-wired to embrace the most pessimistic aspects of our experiences; in psychology, it is referred to as the negativity bias. Working with my patients and experimenting with several systems, I have created the success journal, which is meant particularly for those people who may find it hard to find the positive aspects in their lives, to accomplish more, and to become happier in the process.
This is in no way a criticism of the bullet journal system, which I always recommend as an excellent tool to stay organized and keep track of tasks and habits. Yet the success journal is a tool that can be used by those who need some extra motivation and a dose of positivity. It works around 2 major principles, working your way around your goals, and expanding your potential to areas of your life you either weren't taking care of, or didn't know were there.
All in all, this system is dedicated to people who want to be more than organized, and who want to accomplish more with their lives and have a more positive outlook on their existence.
