This little account is about the terrain and in particular people experiences while biking from Germany to Istanbul and how I tried to stay within my budget of 30€/day. Anything much higher would have seen a premature ending of a lifestyle rich in scenery and hospitality and healthy in exercise. But it was also as Spartan as could be. There was no room for such things as restaurants, pubs and movies. Not even a cell phone I could afford. I had to save by hand-wash my clothes and buy food at discount stores. But to rough it was not new to me.
