One or two sentences of the story in English are followed by the Spanish translation. This makes the Spanish translation quick and easy to compare with the English while interrupting as little as possible the flow of the story. Both the English and Spanish translations are made by native speakers using modern language that is common in everyday use so that you will be practicing useful Spanish phrases. Nevertheless, the aim was to make the translation as direct as possible, to make the Spanish translation easy to follow. We have tried to use simple words that crop up frequently which will let you practice how these common Spanish words are used and help you develop a solid basic Spanish vocabulary.
