In April 2015 I experienced a major Bipolar relapse, after suffering at the hands of bullies at work. At the time, I was working for the worlds largest charity and was unaware that my relapse, was due to their negligence, failure to follow Health and Safety rules and a disregard for the protection of members of staff. Other employees were also suffering, all because of a sociopathic boss. I was taken out of work, to recover, in the Easter of 2015; a time I can’t really recall in great detail, because of medication I was prescribed. I decided to write a blog to explain to the world, what I was going through on a daily basis. It was my way of coming to terms, with the extraordinary events, that were the beginning, of a journey, I am still on today.
In January 2016, myself and my partner, who also worked for the charity, left the United Kingdom, to start a new life in Spain, unable to come to terms, with what had happened to us. We continue to reside in the Costa Blanca urbanization, of Gran Alacant, still blogging about bipolar and my experiences in Spain. I am also a columnist for a magazine, writing about life as an Expat. Bipolarcoaster was the first of my blogs, written from April 2015 – December 2015, thereafter, I started to write my new blog, Forever Enduring Cycles. Today, my latest creation, Spanish Views, is the most popular to date.
This fifth book, chronicles August 2015, when I relapsed. The writing is raw, written by me, suffering from a breakdown at the time; a diary of events, that have shaped my life! Darren J D Vranjes
