Black buggies and dark secrets: lt. joe novelli,

When Sheriffs Deputy Tom Zane is called to an accident regarding a pedestrian and a pickup, he right away sees the young man may have a case of lead poisoning. He calls Lt. Joe Novelli, who agrees, that the accident isnt as it appears. The problem is, the victim is a teenage Amish boy and Joe finds himself not only trying to figure out who had reason to kill the young man, but fighting the Amish bureaucracy which is use to taking care of its own problems.
