Very funny, very different, and this is the only book in which you'll find a sexist cannibal, a homophobic vampire, and a Nazi dentist in Santa Monica, all of whom will make you laugh. This collection of 20 very short pieces (and a play, a interview, and three recipes) is difficult to describe. But they're all clever. And they're all relevant. And they're all humorous. But then humor is subjective, so perhaps someone might find that all the selections aren't funny, but this is okay. And often, humor in the form of satire and parody, is offensive. So, you might be offended by some (if not most) of the pieces in this book. But, if you are easily offended by dark, cutting edge humor, then you should probably not buy this book, and stick to Nicolas Sparks. And it's okay. I won't be offended.
