Camino de Santiago – a ball breaker across Northern Spain (English Edition)

A heart warming story of a father and son's journey across Northern Spain, from St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostella, a distance of over 800 kilometres. Coming from Barnsley, a former mining town in South Yorkshire, Stephen Barnard and his younger son Richard embarked on this arduous journey in true Yorkshire man style. With a strict budget, their equipment was largely made up of Poundland gear and fake rucksacks from China. With this in mind the two had no other option than to walk as far as they could each day, completing the walk in just 24 days. Their paths crossed with people from around the globe and was to become a journey they will remember for the rest of their lives.
