Connie has a brief affair with Mike a loan consultant from Grand Cayman. He returns home only to be pulled out of the bay. His face torn off by a yacht s propeller. Connie is left pregnant. As a treat for her daughter Michelle s 17th birthday Connie takes her to Spain. There she spies who she believes is Mike. He doesn t recognise her because she has had dental surgery to alter her protruding teeth and laser eye treatment so she doesn t wear her black framed bottle bottom lenses.
