Hands down the wife wins over the architect for her ideas, while he accidentally falls into shaft inspecting her garden. She ties a yellow rope around a tree and descends into the underground to save his life. Bus Ride is about happenings on a bus, while the hero embarks on a journey to visit his girlfriend diagnosed with a terminal illness. He talks to a young woman passenger, who translates him the goings on in an oral fight between the driver and the passengers. Close to his girlfriend?s apartment, he meets the gorgeous flower-girl he falls in love with at first sight. But Aline draws compassion in him and he feels responsible to give her a good time and raise her spirits, while she has to hunger to death. However with seeking the woman from the bus, his rides to see Aline has given his unfortunate girlfriend stimulation and she turned to writing again. Her short story about a bicycle ride reminds him about his musings during his bus rides. Chants of Bells and Spices a dusky woman dancer picks up a pilgrim shell on the beach to sip water from the vessel she carries on her head. A young man, he had been cast with a spell by his last lover and it?s the shell the dusky woman has picked for her cup. She hums a song that he recalls of having heard before. His thousand?s of being swept back into the sea at night is about to happen as he visits as an emerging black knight at the beautiful beach of Analipsi on the Island of Crete. He remembers Anna the dusky woman who guides him to the magical red pepper tree. My Life Spread on this Table is about a married man?s musings about his chaotic life resembled by the disorder on his table. Love Among the Statues of Art, is a passionate love story in a museum. Seeking Aletha is about Zac, an emerging poet, who meets lovely Anna, a look-alike of Aletha and he saves her from hurting herself as she collapses. They have as poetry scholars lots in common, but she has to abstain from giving in to her feelings for him. In The Portrait Artist, Sissy has established herself as a painter of flowers, but her manager has work that entails to paint tasteful nudes of men with flower decorations as background.
