When Queen Elizabeth II ascended to the throne, communities across the UK scrambled to find the best way to mark the day of her coronation. Using true accounts and characters of the time, this play catalogues one Devon Village as they aim to 'Create a Memory' of a wonderful time ... with mixed results. Play is approximately 90 minutes long and uses dialogue and attitudes common at the time which some may find offensive today.
