This is an adaptation from the Maharamayana, or Vasistha's Yoga one of the world's longest and most loved poems. In the story, Cudala, through deep self-study, achieves Nirvana, but her King-Husband fails to recognize it. Eventually, he leaves his kingdom in order to perform austerities, but after many years, his mind ripens for complete divine union. Cudala appears to her husband at this time and, disguised, leads him to final liberation. Together, they return to rule the kingdom and guide their people to victory. Includes several poems and dialogue on the meditation of self-inquriy, as taught to Rama by Vasistha in the epic Maharamayana--and as taught by the enlightened Queen Cudala to her Husband Sikhidvaja in the forest hermitage, the Kingdom, and through the living Poem of her pure devotion!
