    Por Friedrich Nietzsche

    Sobre

Der Antichrist (The Antichrist), written in 1888, and is one of the last books completed by philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche before his final years of insanity that lasted until his death in 1900. The work is extremely rich of concepts and ideas, and deals with many of the issues that have been dear to the philosopher throughout his life.
He did not expect a large audience for the book. In fact, the in preface he wrote: "This book belongs to the most rare of men. Perhaps not one of them is yet alive… Some men are born posthumously."

    About the Author
Friedrich Nietzsche (October 15, 1844–August 25, 1900) was a German philosopher who challenged the foundations of Christianity and traditional morality. His writings on truth, morality, language, aesthetics, cultural theory, history, nihilism, power, consciousness, and the meaning of existence have exerted an enormous influence on Western philosophy and intellectual history.
He was interested in the enhancement of individual and cultural health, and believed in life, creativity, power, and the realities of the world we live in, rather than those situated in a world beyond. His philosophy was one of affirming life, questioning all modes of thought and action that are geared towards wasting life's expansive energies.
Nietzsche's revitalizing philosophy has inspired leading figures in all walks of cultural life, including dancers, poets, novelists, painters, psychologists, philosophers, sociologists and social revolutionaries.
