Here’s a little workbook for you to differentiate myriad of homonyms in Japanese language. (They are homophones in terms of kanji spellings if you like)
While spelled the same in hiragana as かがく, “science” has to be written as 科学 and “chemistry” has to be 化学 in kanji.
In this workbook, the hiragana for a certain set of Japanese homonyms appears first, then you see the English translations for those homonyms, and the kanjis for each homonym will be shown on the last page. Let’s get familiarized with about 400 of what we call 同音異義語(どうおんいぎご)!
