It’s 1941, the coldest winter in Russian history. The German army has been trying to invade Leningrad for five months. Half the city has already died from the cold, starvation or the nightly bombardments. In the devastation, three prostitutes, Zoya, Liza, and Alyesia struggle to survive the impending German invasion and the daily hazards of their profession.
