    Por Edward Holmes

    Sobre

Edward Holmes published his Life of Mozart in 1845. It was one of the first complete biographies of the composer, and it remains a perennial classic. Holmes did exemplary research for his study, and used Mozart's correspondence and other material to draw the reader directly into the day-to-day life of his subject. The writing style is lively and non-technical, fully accessible to all who love Mozart.

For the benefit of those who read music, this edition contains all the musical illustrations that Holmes included.
