This is an English Conversation Textbook, which can also be used as a handbook, primarily for student nurses whose first language is Japanese. For non-Japanese student nurses there is an all English version available. There is an introduction for teachers who will use this in a classroom.
Not everything has been translated into Japanese. Primarily the difficult medical words and some of the text. The main reason is to encourage the students to take the tie and effort to look up the meaning of words in their dictionaries, and also to prod them to ask the teacher questions.
This text book is designed for a short course between 15 and 20 lessons, depending on the length of each lesson.
Students studying English for the first time will have to be taught slowly and with patience. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day.
The students can get some basic English Conversation, Basic Medical English, some basic grammar and have fun filling in some of the dialogues.
