The European Night Train Network enables railway travellers unprecedented ability to traverse the entire continent of Europe with the convenience of a comfy night in a couchette or sleeping car, The European night train network although certainly not what it was 10 years ago, still offers over 178 different night trains which enables you to explore the entire continent in a convenient and comfy manor. Germany stopped operating the CNL (CityNightLine) services at the end of 2016. Sadly services departing from Amsterdam disappeared and also all the night train departures from Koln except one which heads to Austria. Instead OBB Austrian Railways have stepped in and operate many of the routes departing and arriving in Germany.
