In order to increase the readability we have kept the font size to 14 and also to increase the visibility the headings of the book has been coloured.
My normal edition of the book indirect tax contains 250 pages. It is also available on amazon.
Had this book be written in font size 11 then the number of pages would have been 60.
ABOUT INDIRECT TAX
Govt. earns in 2 way first by levy tax on income and the other by levying tax on expenditures. It simple means whatever we spend and whatever we earn tax is levied on it. Tax on income is income tax. Tax on expenditure is indirect tax.
When you go for shopping tax is levied on sale price which is indirect tax. A shopkeeper computes sale price by adding cost of inputs plus all types of expenditure incurred in running business plus profit margin
Indirect Tax is consumption based taxation. It means that the person who consumes goods or services shall pay tax and that Govt shall collect tax in whose territory this goods or services have been consumed.
