Fixed in Time is the surprising conclusion to Making Time, a story about Hal Campbell, a simple professor of languages at a small Pennsylvania university hired to go back in time. Although Hal is supposed to fix history to change the present, he gets fixed in lives and times he never anticipated, and then attempts to fix all of the damage he’s done and return the world to the way it was by traveling through time before the present is fixed the way he’s unintentionally made it.
After losing everything, Hal finds out just what life, meaning, and love truly mean to his existence. Still wanting his wife, kids, and his old life back – and knowing he has the means to fix things if he can figure out how to get history back to where he found it – Hal keeps working to get things right so he can go back to a present called home.
