In another book by Ellen Dudley titled, ‘Once Upon a Time,’ a futuristic view of manipulation through the media, the intrigue came from within.
In this tale the intrigue comes from without, and this time, unfortunately, for the wrong reasons. On one hand, vengeance, on the other, greed, resulting ultimately in horrendous events.
There are many players in this tragedy, some evil, some honest, some dutiful and some with the desire to manipulate without caring for the consequences.
When you finally reach the end of this tale with all its twists and turns, you will ask yourself if this could transpire today, and which lunatics would issue orders to bring about death and destruction … who could give up reasoning for madness without a thought for his or her fellow man.
This story is obviously not a true one, nor is it based on facts; some of the characters are not named whereas others are. If you have names or faces to give the nameless ones then please do so, but please keep them to yourself…
