Forbidden summit

Back in July, we were honored meet techno-thriller superstar Payne Harrison, who graciously granted us the right to publish all five of his books (to date) in eBook form. We were, to say the least, thrilled to sign S&Co?s first living author, let alone one with his stature, and even more excited that we can now bring all of his works to you. In addition to the fact that we all love these books, we are all incredibly happy to be working with an author who understands S&Co's purpose and joins us in our love of genre. Speaking of genre, that's... kind of hard to pin down here. While his work is most commonly referred to as "techno-thriller," and that is in and of itself accurate, it all really goes far beyond that. If you're not familiar with it, think about what would happen if William Gibson, Tom Clancy and Tim Powers met up and decided to collaborate on a book or five. Yeah, it really is that good. It's difficult to get into the specifics without spoiling, of course, but here?s a taste: Space shuttle hijackings. Cutting-edge genemod plagues. High-stakes conspiracies and secret governments. Nukes. Stuff that makes getting nuked look like a fun day at the beach. Spec Ops guys landing on the backs of flying helicopters.
