From a box in the attic

This anthology, now released in its second edition, contains a good sampling of my early writing. Many of the poems, for example, date back to the early 1990s and the creative nonfiction piece, "The Day My Daughter Died", was written in 2006. All the pieces that appeared in the first edition have been reedited, cleaned up and touched up to provide a better overall reading experience.New content has been added in the form of a short fiction piece as well as author commentary on each piece in the anthology. The extra story that I have added was a submission To the Americas Next Author social writing contest. It is entitled "Force", however this is a working title and may change.I prefer to write literary fiction and drama. I strive for pieces with a strong didactic and that follow in the footsteps of the great social commentators. Readers will notice a strong radical flavor in my writing; this is due to my ideology which began forming when I was still a young child.Just last week I made the decision to jump into writing fiction full-time. This means that a lot more writing be coming your way in the near future. Look for more experimental fiction and poetry as well as cross-genre pieces. Novel length works are in the writing process and will be published as they are completed.My author website as well as a blog with variable, but always interesting, themes are in the making.
