In this series we will be looking at 7 really studly Christian-type-persons, 4 from the New Testament and 3 from the Old Testament. Faith is a funny thing. Not funny 'Ha, Ha', but funny because it's hard to figure out. We use faith everyday and I'll bet you don't even realize it . . . K (short for 'OK') . . . Since you are probably smarter than me, you've probably figured out this stuff. You use faith when you sit on a chair (you don't know if the chair will hold you up especially since your little bro took your dad's saw and sawed one of the chair's leg almost off) or . . . Or . . . When you brush your teeth, you have faith that your little sis didn't use your brush to clean that brown gunk from the bottom of her shoes when she stepped in . . . Um . . . well, you can use your imagination. It's harder to have faith in something or someone you can't see. Faith in God is tough because you can't touch Him, smell Him or see Him. But God says in the Bible that 'without faith it is impossible to please God'. So why is faith so important? Because it's impossible to please God without it. The people we are going to study understood how much God wants us to have faith in Him. Let's look at what God has to say about faith through these people.
