Girl-chenoo, the

Charles Godfrey Leland was an American journalist, traveler and writer. First of all he was considered as a writer of humor and folklorist genre. Traveling around the world he collected numerous stories and legends which became a primary part of his literary works. The ?Girl-Chenoo? retells the reader about an ancient legend of snow girl that was destined to bring under the power of an evil snow spirit.
